Ski boot size and mondopoint
Ski boots are sized in mondopoint: the length of the foot in centimetres. A men's US 10 converts to 28–28.5 on the comfort or standard columns and 27–27.5 for a performance fit. evo and Nordica differ by up to half a size, which is why both say to measure the foot.

- 2Nordica EU / UK EU 43 · UK 9
- 3Performance fit 27–27.5 cm

Charts: Ski boot size chart and mondopoint conversion (whole US sizes); Nordica boot size chart (PDF) (half sizes, EU and UK). Checked 2026-10-21. A dash means the chart prints no value for that size.
Comfort, standard and performance
Both charts print two mondopoint columns. evo's comfort fit is for beginner to intermediate skiers and its performance fit for intermediate to advanced skiers; Nordica's standard fit is for beginner to intermediate skiers who ski less often and its performance fit for intermediate to advanced skiers who ski regularly. On both charts the performance column runs one mondopoint below the comfort or standard column for the same shoe size. A men's US 10 reads 28.5 on evo's comfort column but 28 on Nordica's standard column, and 27.5 against 27 for performance: evo's whole sizes sit half a mondopoint above Nordica's for the same US size.
Measure the foot instead
evo's instruction is short: place the heel against a wall, measure to the end of the longest toe in centimetres, and "Your Mondopoint size is equal to the length in centimeters." Nordica says the same: measure in centimetres, heel to longest toe, standing, and see a boot fitter, because shoe-size conversions vary by brand. The two charts already disagree by half a mondopoint at the same US size, so a measured foot length is a better starting number than any conversion.
Boots and the rest of the setup
For the skis themselves see ski length by height; for snowboards, boot size decides board width: snowboard width and boot size and the snowboard hub. Cross-country boots use the same mondopoint idea: cross-country ski length. Convert your boot size in the profile tool
Conversions are approximate, as both brands say; a boot fitting decides. See the methodology.
